Welcome to Our Outpatient Therapy Clinic

Edgewood’s Therapy and Assessment Clinic offers one-to-one therapy, family therapy, and psychological assessment services for youth, young adults, and their families in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our services are offered in a home-like cottage setting on our beautiful campus in the Sunset District of San Francisco.

We also offer therapy services in the community, or through telehealth. Our therapists empower youth and families with the tools, care, and expertise needed to face life’s challenges.

We serve youth ages early childhood to 24 and their families. Let us help guide you on a path toward healing, growth, and empowerment.

What are your fees?

All initial consultations are free. After the initial consultation, fees vary by services or financial need.

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network provider for many insurance plans. While we do not directly accept commercial insurance, we provide the necessary documentation (Superbills) for families to seek reimbursement. We do accept Full Scope Medi-Cal from San Francisco County.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes, we offer sliding scale rates based on financial need and provide Superbills for insurance reimbursement.

Are there symptoms, conditions, or situations that you do not treat?

At this time, we are not able to serve families outside California due to licensing regulations.

While Edgewood has the ability to serve youth and families with highly specialized and crisis services, outpatient therapy services are not appropriate for youth requiring higher levels of care due safety considerations such as:

• Youth acting on homicidal or suicidal ideations
• Eating disorders requiring medical attention
• Occupational or ABA therapy for autism spectrum disorders
• Families outside California due to licensing regulations

How long does it take to see a clinician?

We strive to respond to referrals within 48 hours and schedule intake appointments within 10 days.

Will I be involved in my child’s treatment?

Yes, we emphasize family involvement in treatment, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
